Cylinder Head Reconditioning

Cylinder head reconditioning is a comprehensive service that restores the performance and sealing integrity of this critical engine component. The cylinder head manages the engine's airflow and combustion, but can suffer from warping, cracking, or worn valve components over time, leading to compression loss, oil leaks, and poor performance. Our reconditioning process involves thorough cleaning, crack detection, and resurfacing to ensure a perfect seal with the engine block.

A key part of this service is the precision valve seat cutting, or 'valve job.' We use specialized equipment to machine the valve seats at multiple angles (e.g., 30°, 45°, 60°) to optimize both airflow and sealing. This ensures a gas-tight seal for maximum compression and efficient heat transfer. At Amar Engineering Works, we also manufacture our own heavy-duty valve seats and guides, offering superior durability for demanding applications.
